Apparently, something happens coming up soon and Nick Mohammad worries how fans of the show will react to what Nate does.

The throwaway scene in the prior episode with Trent Crimm is definitely going to come back (either because he publishes the story after Nate leaks or refuses to).

It was just a weird book selection for a series, IMO. And they've gone really off the rails from the book. There isn't nearly as much Jessica-Ben as the book, there's a larger focus on the Marconi family (which is really starting to feel rehashed at this point). Lars was always just kinda there, but in the book, he's a lawyer, not an investigative journalist. Also, the three in charge of the facility are not boinking at all times. There is a MAJOR thing that happens about 2/3rds into the book (it's also when all of the clients find out they're being microdosed with LSD) that fuels the final plots of the book and if they don't get to it soon, I question if they've just thrown that whole storyline out in favor of just watching more people run around in the woods.

I just don't think this was a good choice for a book to turn into a movie, because so much of the good stuff from the book is the unspoken internal monologue of how each character feels and why they felt they needed to go on a 14-day health retreat.

I've also been watching The White Lotus on HBO Max. Odd timing, since they have sort of the more similar feel, but the conflicts in that show feel way more TV than Nine Perfect Strangers.

Ted Lasso is really taking on mental health and Nate cannot process praise and criticism, along with most emotions, thanks to his father.

    The last episode was wonderful.

We watched it as a family Friday night and I tend to get up very early, even on weekends. Around 6, my son came down and asked if we could watch it again.

The moment between Roy and Jamie was one of those TV moments that overshadowed what came next with Lasso's phone call, which was supposed to be the BIG THING.

I've started to watch the last episode twice and been distracted and stopped.

it's weird how much Amazon has promoted it, when it's really not special. I read that they made a major plot change to the background of the Kidman character (it should have been her accent). I'm not worried about spoilers as it's just a curiosity at this point, I'm borderline hate watching it.

It’s the tease for the next episode or episodes. The plot apexes for this episode were prior to Ted’s call.

Nate’s plot line is also rising, as is Coach Beard’s.

Each character is their own individual plot line. It’s a wonderfully written show.

The Kominsky Method was very good.

Yes but Ted finally telling fessing up seems like it would have been it's own A-HA moment.

I venture that 99.9% of those watching were still in the throes of tears and being verklempt after the Roy/Jamie moment to digest what they were now hearing from Ted.

Maybe it was perfect timing i.e. perfect writing. I don't know.

You really walk a fine line with spoilers.

There was no spoiler. People watch it or they don't.
