Watched first episode of Masters of Sex. I can't recall a better debut. Caplan and Sheen are fantastic.

I thought it was great as well. Caplan is off the charts fantastic.

    Sheen is always great.

I'll be following the reviews of Masters of Sex closely. Definitely interested in checking that out if it lives up to its promise.

Why wouldn't you just watch it to judge for yourself if you like it?

I have enough TV to stay up on (or catch up on) so I almost never start a drama until after the first season is done. I don't want to get burned by a show that starts promising and then doesn't deliver.

    Interesting.

I have found that if I postpone watching a new or relatively new program, I almost never get around to it. The unceasing flood of other stuff (not all TV-related) swamps it.

I stay on them pretty well. For instance, I'll be doing the first season of The Americans at some point before season two begins. It also helps that I rarely watch network dramas. Catching up on a 13 episode season is a lot easier than a 24 episode season.

enough nudity to make it worthwhile?

Absolutely. Caplan is nude in the first episode and there are probably at least 3-4 other nude scenes as they do the sex experiments on candidates.

We just watched the first episode of 'Masters of Sex' last night.
    I thought it was dull.
