Has anyone here seen "Hello Ladies" yet?

Watched it. It was OK. Kind of sweetly funny at times, at other times a total cringe-fest.

Same here. That is how I ended up never watching Lost, which seemed to be my kind of show. From the mixed things I've heard, I'm kinda happy about that now.

Agreed. It was sort of hit and miss at times. I'll give it a little time as I've liked most things Steven Merchant has done in the past. However, this time it's without the collaboration of Ricky Gervais so we'll see how it works out.

FWIW, HBO has posted the 1st episode on youtube:

So do you let other people dictate everything you do/watch/eat/see/hear? Seems like a terrible way to live.
Go watch Lost, it's awesome. Who cares if the ending sucked/didn't live up to expectations. Take a friggin' chance!

No, you misunderstand. I was just saying if I put off watching something, I never get around to it. It was dreunc who said he waits to see the reviews before giving a show a chance. I rarely bother with reviews of TV shows until after I've seen them, and then just because sometimes it is interesting to read somebody else's perspective.

I wasn't waiting on reviews with Lost. For scheduling reasons, I missed the first few episodes. I kept thinking I'd catch it from the beginning in summer re-runs or something, but I never got around to it.

I had it on but wasn't watching closely but this sounds like a very accurate review of what I saw.

I read something yesterday that said Dads was very close to getting the axe and that the Mindy Project was likely to go as well... I find that a little surprising for a show that's gotten good reviews and is in its second season, but it sounds like The New Girl gives it a strong lead-in and then Mindy loses a considerable portion of the audience.

I gave a second shot to Back in the Game. It won't be around much longer unless it's just to burn off episodes. They need to find the right sitcom for Maggie Lawson, because she's great, but this clearly isn't it...

Ziva leaves NCIS. She was easy on the eyes and a nice character.

That site also predicts Hostages and Mom to be canceled. That's too bad. I really like both those shows.
