The good news for Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is that it's somehow even making a crack in the NCIS/The Voice timeslot.

NBC didn't do Hostages any favors with that time slot.

That is unfortunate about Mom. I was liking it more than most of the new shows.

It does mention that Hostages is a "limited series" which means it's not exactly expected to go multiple seasons... But if it gets great ratings, they'll find a way to extend it.

I'm surprised Mom's ratings are so bad.

I live for Mindy Project. When it dies, and it will, it will greatly sadden me.

Yeah, it surprises me a little bit... For me, it was a little like New Girl and Parks and Rec, not that it's as good as either of those shows, but it is good... It started slow, I gave up on it and then went back to it based on the comments from those on this board.

That site made it sound like it was likely to last a full season based on getting a full order on the renewal. I hope they wait until spring before making a ruling on it, what would be the point of making a rash decision on a show that already likely has most of the season in the can?

So am I the only Hawaii 5-0 viewer here? Last Friday's season premiere was confusing, not to mention James Bond-like implausible in places.

There are at least two of us. I didn't find it confusing so much (no more than previous eps and storylines), but the implausibility was there.

My main thing was McGarrett and the squad running the SWAT wagon off the road to free the terrorists. I know it was done to save Catherine and we're always supposed to understand Steve's motives whenever he "freelances," but that was way over the line. I was totally siding with the SWAT captain -- I'd be pissed off too.

Any opinion on the new "Ironside"? It was different to say the least. Will give it another shot next week.

That was the opinion, now for the question that has bothered me about a number of new TV shows, particularly dramas: Why are the credits during the opening scene of so many of these shows -- more recent (Cold Case) so small, they can almost not be read(Hawaii Five-O, Castle, Ironside to name a few I am certain do this). Is there supposed to be a logic to it or what? Just wondering if anyone else is bugged by this trend.

I watch it regularly, but I haven't seen the ones from this season yet. I'm behind on a few shows.

You're only one behind at the moment, Mizzou.

I watch 5-0 also. It's silly, but Alex O'Laughlin is nice eye candy.
