I loved Sports Night at the time. I wonder if it all holds up as well as some of Sorkin's other work. I just don't have anywhere to re-watch it that I don't have to pay extra, so I go without. There is just too much stuff I already have access to with all the streaming services we have.

The one show on that list that I've revisited is Togetherness, with Melanie Lynskey and Amanda Peet. Very promising start. And I love me some Melanie Lynskey.

Finished S1 of "Stranger Things" last night. I am not a sci-fi person but I stuck with it. A lot was left unexplained. They all seem so happy because Will is back and Christmas is approaching. But what about other missing people? Barb's parents probably aren't all that happy. I'm sure they will get to it as the series progresses.

Yeah, that's something they go back to in S2 and S4, IIRC.

Found a copy of the TV Guide Fall Preview for this year. Amazing how thin it is - even for a "double-issue."

I gotta think the cop's daughter will reappear at some point, and there is some link to Eleven and the woman who allegedly miscarried in the third trimester. Or Eleven is the cop's daughter (bald head now a buzzcut). But maybe that is just to suck me in.

Wasn’t that Susan Sarandon Trace Adkins thing supposed to premiere last season?

"I just put a spinach soufflé in the oven, why don't you come up here and share it with me, huh."

    1973 sounded like a hoot!

America was still deep in the throes of a national rehab post '69.
