My parents would like to throw in a vote for "Cops" as the greatest TV show of all time, or so I can only assume because I'm at their house for the weekend and that is all they ever watch.

I'm sure he'd shave for you. Or for imjustagirl's sensitive skin.

Smash is still pretty good. Some great songs this week.
Watching way too much Downton Abbey thanks to the Comcast Watchathon - almost catching myself starting to pick up the accent.

Anyone here watch the new Hawaii Five-O?

I've seen a new episode here and there. It's typical CBS though. Thought Golden Boy is pretty good. Still "crime of the week" stuff, but the various relationships between the detectives has potential (though it probably won't be picked up).

I'm not sure what you mean by your parenthetical phrase: The potential won't be picked up (as in, fulfilled), or the show won't be picked up (as in, renewed)? Hawaii Five-0 (which uses the numeral instead of the letter unlike its predecessor) actually gets very good ratings and already has been picked up for a fourth season.

I meant Golden Boy won't be picked up. Vegas a likely goner as well.

Oh, I read over the part about Golden Boy assuming that was a character. That makes sense. It appears the ratings have slipped.

Vegas is moving to Fridays. Pretty much guarantees its demise.

I'm finding that as well. There are a few series that I would love to watch (The Wire and Mad Men) that I just don't have the time to catch up on...

My in-laws are tremendous "Soap" fans. We spent a drunken 2 days watching the first few seasons, and good times were had by all.
