I imagine they will show up. I wouldn't mind Brent Spiner in his recurring role, either.

One of the Night Court lines I’ve never forgotten.
The court staff found out that Phil, the homeless derelict, was secretly wealthy.
Someone said he was a huge benefactor of the New York Harmonic.
Someone else said “don’t you mean the philharmonic?” And the response was “yeah, now.”

The one I will never forget was:

"He knew he was in the presence of greatness."

    "Thanks."

I need to go back and re-watch Night Court originals. I seem to always remember loving the episodes where they had an impossible docket that had to be finished by some deadline, and the parade of cases they would have to run through, often leading to Fielding losing his mind and, um, opportunity.

Agree. It's pretty low on our watch list, but we're working our way through it...it's a perfectly fine, B- time killer.

Paula Marshall played the NYU reporter in the "not that there's anything wrong with that" gay episode of Seinfeld.

Wiki: She is the sister of Virginia politician Bob Marshall, who became widely known for proposing a "bathroom bill" (a law that would have limited transgender individuals access to public restrooms of their born sex) before his defeat by transgender candidate Danica Roem in the November 2017 state election. Paula Marshall attributed his defeat to "karma" for his "homophobic" acts.[4]

Do they still have the distinctive laugh track on the new Night Court? The hard chuckle/cackle?

Edit: Just discovered that laugh belonged to Chuck Weege, Reinhold Weege’s father, who attended just about every taping.

    That’90s Show premiered today. Hyde-less.

I watched the first three episodes and enjoyed it. I was not a regular viewer of That '70s Show, so I can't make a lot of comparisons and don't hold the same nostalgia, but it made me laugh.

Red and Kitty look the same and there are "foot in ass" and "dumbass" references.

I watched right after Home Economics and Topher Grace plays basically the same character in both.

Doesn't he usually play the same character?

Sure, there are exceptions like Eddie Brock in Spider-Man 3 and Edwin in Predators, but I'm not sure either of those are proof that he has much range.
