Even though I've never watched it that way, I think Boardwalk Empire might be made for binge viewing. It seems slow when viewed an hour at a time, but is pretty remarkable the way everything always comes together if you look at the seasons as a whole.

I agree. I feel like every season people complain about the pace around this time, and then at the end of the season we're talking about how good the final few episodes were.

Damn. Now I'm really annoyed that I won't get around to watching until tomorrow.

They ordered six more scripts for Dads and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which one of the sites said doesn't mean the shows are safe, but it's probably means both have a chance to survive.

Apparently, The Millers is doing pretty well, which just stuns me.

The Millers opener disappointed me as well. I'm glad I gave it one more shot, though. Thought it picked up considerably in the second episode.

Remember, Cheers started out slow, too.

Nice to see Episode 4 of Parenthood has the show firmly back on the track after the first two weeks were quite annoying.

But watching "Welcome to the Family" and "The Michael J. Fox Show" is becoming more and more like work. Maybe they'll get better, but right now neither show is the least bit funny, and both shows are lacking in likable characters.

Welcome to the Family looks abysmal. And I usually like Mike O'Malley.

Finally got around to watching this week's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. last night. I do agree with Versatile that it was the best episode yet, though I don't think the gap was that big. I do wonder if this is going to end up being a geek of the week each episode, but I also thought it was a strong story and the reveal at the end was very well done. (Though I will say that anybody who has seen a certain Disney show that my daughter likes might be taken out of the moment a bit when they see a familiar actor).

Casting guest appearances for a genre show can get interesting. Smallville often had fun with this, but most of the best guest appearances were the unfamiliar faces. That has been the case on this show as well, at least so far.

I stuck around after Parks & Rec last night for a few minutes and saw a bit. (I was trying to decide if I had any legal needs that could be filled by the firm of Babip, Pecota, Vorp and Eckstein.) I laughed a couple of times at WTTF. I didn't stick around past the commercial break, and I don't remember what the jokes were that I laughed at. But it seemed moderately OK.

I wish they hadn't had the mom get pregnant. I like the show. It's nothing special, but it's light and I like the cast. I've always liked O'Malley. Mary McCormack is always good. I hope it survives, but it probably won't.

Wow. I would have thought that would have gotten a longer leash... It was hardly great, but was better than a lot of what's out there.

It sounds like Mom, Crazy Ones and The Millers all got full season orders.
