Interesting article on what a 30-sec ad costs on various network TV shows:

Some of those are very surprising... I like New Girl, but I never would have guessed it would be that high... The numbers for New Girl do not support it being that high. Even the numbers in the demo are not very high...

Surprised NCIS is that low (21) for the top-rated show on TV. 60 Minutes being that low surprises me too... I guess it shows it's all about the 18-49 demo.

I was really into that show through two seasons. The first half of the third season is where it lost me, and I just stopped watching. My wife stuck it out last season, but decided not to watch it this season.

 

Any hope for that show died when Michael Pitt became impossible to work with.

Anybody else watching Masters of Sex on Showtime? I wasn't sold on the premise early on, but damn, it got very good, very quickly.

 

We've watched the first....three?....episodes. We do like it, and I've heard from multiple people now that it just gets better. We really need to make time for it soon.

And Steak...You nailed it. That was about the end for me.

 

This fall season is just really not sticking with me. I'm having trouble finding stuff to watch.

 

Do you watch Parenthood?
