Got people talking about 'Family Guy' for the first time in a long time.

Aw, man. Stewie's gotta be bummed.

Vinnie definitely has a "Poochie" vibe to him.
Watching this episode, I didn't really get the full impact of it. I kept waiting for Stewie to fix the time machine and save Brian. Then ... it didn't happen. I was more stunned when the final credits came on (or when I realized they were fast approaching and there wasn't time to pull off that twist) than I was during Brian's death scene.

At the end of every season, I'm glad I keep sticking with Boardwalk Empire. The season finale was so good. Maybe the best episode from the whole series.

I had the same thought. Just kept assuming they would find a cheat, either by the time machine or some other method.

They really have no chemistry. Claire is just as unsympathetic as Mitchell, but they are able to show an underlying relationship between her and Phil. I also don't think that the actor who plays Cam is very good.

The episode two weeks ago where they basically had a camera pointed at Haley's bikini-clad breasts for 5 minutes was a little icky.

HBO's Getting On was a mess. I have no idea if it's supposed to be a comedy or a drama. And the handheld camera...excuse me while I close my eyes to stop the room from spinning.

I think MacFarlane is at the point in his career where he does things just to prove he can. I think the South Park guys are at that point as well... He was probably sick of doing three voices and he can't kill off Peter or Stewy.

Alex Borstein was on Carolla's show last week and said MacFarlane is around the set a lot less now than he used to be.

I watched it last night, and for a "comedy" show, that was about as non-comedic as anything I've ever seen. Quite depressing, to be honest.

And I have really, really enjoyed Family Guy over the years, but I'll be very surprised if that wasn't its shark-jumping moment.

The quality has been slipping for quite a while, but killing off Brian definitely makes it worse.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. gets better every week.

I have to disagree with you on Eric Stonestreet. He's fantastic. I'd say he's my favorite character but there are so many good ones ...
