I haven't seen this week's yet, but I also like the way it is coming along. I hope they don't drag the Coulson mystery out too long, even if they just let the audience know without him finding out.

The best part is you really don't have to know much about the comics or movies to get it. Sure, they put in Easter Eggs for the fanboys, but I don't think it makes it that hard to follow if you don't know what an Asgardian is or if you didn't recognize Victoria Hand's name last week.

This week's episodic plot is weak, but there's a lot of good character development.

Also not sure what to make of McFarlane killing off Brian. My first thought was "how can he do three voices, stories, etc., and he's working on 'Ted 2' and other stuff? Guess it's time to lighten the load on 'Family Guy.'" Now, do I like it? Nope. Then again, it's a cartoon. Brian can always come back. McFarlane is probably pulling a "Death of Superman." Kill him, make people upset, listen to them bitch, bring him back.

I was posting while watching. I take back calling it "weak" in favor of "abominable." But the character development was solid.

They have already done that joke. Not that it would stop them from doing it again.

This season was excellent, all the way through. Maybe one or two slow episodes. Lots of action. Lots of bringing the crime organizations full circle. And SPOILER ALERT ...

    RIP Half Moon. :(

That doesn't surprise me, either. So far, what I like is the characters and the Marvel Easter Eggs. The stories have been uneven at best.

Finally got to watch it tonight. I didn't hate the plot as much as you did, but I agree with your overall assessment of the episode. More Easter Eggs, too, such as Coulson identifying the plane by a code that includes 616, which is the designation for the universe the primary Marvel books are set in within the multiverse. (Nobody really wants me to explain that, do they?)

Every once in a while Glee reminds you why you still watch. This week…the piano player talked.

I just think that his reactions are so over the top in every scene. It's acting that you would see in a high school play. Maybe they are having him do it on purpose, but for me it is really distracting.

I think that Jay and Phil and maybe Claire are the best acted roles.
