I just watched the first episode of The Returned. That's some really good, original television. Here's Todd VanDerWerff on the first season: http://www.avclub.com/review/iiin-the-terrific-new-horror-series-ithe-returnedi-104889.

It hasn't been released yet, but I'm pretty sure I have a new favorite show: BoJack Horseman.

Per many Internet critics, we should all be watching Black Mirror. Which, here in the U.S., you can't watch legally. (it was on Audience Network on Direct, but I don't see any upcoming listings for it). Looks good, though.

I have no idea if it will survive, but Trophy Wife has gotten pretty solid.

The Goldbergs drives me crazy. So much potential, but the inability to differentiate references from 1982 and 1988 in the same episode drives me crazy.

I've only watched a few episodes of the Goldbergs even though I've kinda liked what I saw.

Adam Goldberg did an interview with Vulture explaining why it's set in 1980-something instead of a specific year.

Yeah. I've noticed that, too. But the show is too good for it to be ruined by that one little thing. I've gotten over it.

Couldn't stop watching the fourth season of The Good Wife on DVD a couple weeks ago. What a great show. It's the best on network television if you ask me. Great acting, great writing, compelling plots. Some of it gets a bit silly, but it never strays too far into the absurd.

I wish I didn't care, but it drives me crazy.

It just strikes me as sloppy and unneccessary.

The Thanksgiving episode had a Darryl Dawkins reference (last played in Philly in 1982), Back to the Future (1985), Sister Christian (1984) and Cocktail (1988).

I'm not watching the show, but that drives me crazy, too.
Do a little homework, lazy writers.

Somehow I missed out on The Good Wife. Once I've missed the first season of a show, I somehow can't join in on the second season. I'm waiting for it to come to syndication on something like TNT or USA and then watch it daily -- kind of the way I became a junkie for NCIS and the Law & Order franchises.

All series episodes should include Season 1 and Episode 1 in the directory info on DirecTV.
That drive me crazy, espc. for 'Boardwalk Empire' and reruns of 'Band of Brothers.'

I've watched it. It's sort of like a futuristic Twilight Zone. The first batch of three episodes were really good. The second batch, meh, not so much.

If you're into downloading British TV, you should also check out Fresh Meat. It's in its third season. Might be the best show about college life out there.
