Treme's last episode was the most Wire-like one in the series. I think it might have also been the best.

Fresh Meat is fantastic; easily one of the best comedies on TV at the moment.

Same here. When I saw the ads for Good Wife, I remember thinking, "As much as I like Chris Noth and Margulies, this show is going to feel like watching the news, and I passed."

Maybe I'll catch up when it's in syndication, which I'm assuming will be soon. Unless it's a serial, sometimes those don't translate as well to syndication.

    It's a very good show.

Also, Kalinda can seduce any person, male or female, with a simple smile. She is Mango the pansexual.

If I just started watching it this week would it make any sense or is it like Criminal Minds, CSI, NCIS and Law and Order where the majority of each week's show is completely new?

No there is definitely history that you'd need to understand. Particularly the Will/Alicia background.

They've really changed the writing in the last couple of seasons. It used to be really serious and dramatic -- now it's snarky. One of the funnier shows on TV, actually.

I agree with LTL, you'd be scratching your head over the dynamic between Alicia (Marguiles) and Will (Josh Charles) if you didn't know the background there.

Clarke Peters is so motherfucking good at acting. As is Wendell Pierce. I'm going to be so sad when this show is gone.

The Good Wife might be my favorite show on TV. It changes daily, but most days, it's The Good Wife.

But yeah, start from the beginning, Mizzou.

    *** FAMILY GUY SPOILER ***

What's stranger -- that McFarlane would bring Brian Griffin back from the dead, or that there are currently 43 news articles available on the grand resurrection?

That he would do it this quickly.
