Garrow, the first episode was by far the highlight. It tails off pretty badly.

Wife and I keep trying to get past episode 2 of the new Squid Game season, but for one reason and another we just haven’t been in the right head space.

Wifey said she’s out so I’ll see if I can get past episode two and report back.

If you look closely, in certain scenes you can see the ham sandwich still in Patinkin's hand as he delivers his lines. That being said, he's a delight on that show, in stark contrast to most of what else is happening. By the end, I thought it felt like a way worse version of Rian Johnson's mystery stuff.

As an FYI, there will be no Season 2 (Hulu canceled it).

It also had some of the most shoehorned in topless scenes, all with the same actress

Really good role for Noah Wyle. It resembles his ER character after 20 years of being beaten down.

Anyone into Korean shows? My daughter started watching Crash Landing into You, about a South Korean actress who was hang gliding, got caught in a gust of wind and wound up. in North Korea. She crashes near an army unit, and of course falls for the commander. The show is about her in the village and the army people trying to get her back to SK.

There's a lot to like in Interior Chinatown, starting with a great Jimmy O. Yang lead performance. He's surrounded by a strong cast and there are lots of fun moments and social commentary. But it is also a confusing, mish mash with thousands of flashbacks and fast forwards. 2.5/5
