Welcome back, Dan Harmon. I've missed you.

I thought the first ep of "Community" was the stronger of the two, mostly because I always like the meta stuff they do. But it was just nice to have the same feel about Community.

He always appears as if he's about to star in a Smashmouth music video.

Spent the last 2 days watching season 1 of House of Cards. Intriguing and well-thought-out and executed.

Outstanding show. Can't wait for season 2. Spacey takes it to another level.

    I'll watch Spacey in anything.

I thought the guy who played Peter turned in a great effort, especially after his fall from grace. The scene in his car outside his kids' home when he's talking to his daughter was emotional.

    Just because it's great ...

'... giant television screens showing an endless loop of Mr. Fieri opening his goatee-framed sphincter-mouth to welcome a panoply of fried matter ...'

The whole piece in its classic glory:

Stumbled upon Louis CK's show. Plowing through the first season on Netflix.

Funny and smart. A little bit of Seinfeld and a little bit of Curb Your Enthusiasm but more grounded in reality than CYE.

I feel it's a little more hit-and-miss than some, but when he turns out a brilliant episode, it's pretty good stuff.

Watching the "God" episode now, which is so well-done. So was "Bully" ...

There are some episodes that are totally abstract and absurdest. It's a show that really defies genre. I can see how some would say it is hit or miss, because he tries so many things not everything is going to "hit" with everyone who liked something else he did, but on the whole it is brilliant.

I think it's the best show on TV. And the absurdism was more veiled until the third season.
