Finally plowed thru all 18 episodes of "Freaks and Geeks" on Netflix. Man, what a great show.

Considering how so many people on the main cast went on to big things, it's no wonder the show's lone Emmy went to the casting director.

Sad it only lasted one season, but that's better than lasting WAY too long like virtually every other sitcom.

Freaks and Geeks, My So-Called Life and the Ben Stiller Show are three examples of shows that were cut short way too soon, but almost everybody involved went on to do great things... Not everybody, but almost everybody...

I'm surprised to say that "Super Fun Night" is growing on me by the episode. Rebel Wilson is kinda adorkable.

Is that true of My So-Called Life?

Disagree. You're not forced to watch bad shows. Plus Freaks and Geeks left so much unanswered.

Sure ... Danes and Leto, I think, are enough to make that hold up.

None of them are on the level of the leads in the other two shows he mentioned.

I'd say Danes is. She's won an Emmy three years in a row (twice for Homeland, once for Temple Grandin).

But yeah, that show didn't have the cast depth of F&G or Ben Stiller.

And Leto, if you look at his entire body of work AND the fact that he's a multi-platform entertainer, he's got to have some cred.

OK, not quite as much as the other two shows. I just think it's closer than you.

Currently making my way though the BBC series Him & Her. It's about a 20-something lower class couple living in squalor in a tiny apartment. The only set is the apartment and there's roughly six characters. It's absolutely disgusting, but laugh-out-loud hilarious.
