I'm in better shape now than I was at 30. Or 20 for that matter.

When I turned 30 and weighed about 220 I decided to do something about it. Started running regularly and now do half marathons so I can eat and drink what I want and stay between 180-185. At 6-0 that works for me. I also play basketball a couple times a week and that helps. I was a stick in high school (155) but I filled out in college and kept filling out. I definitely feel better physically than I have since I played sports in high school. Age is just a number (I tell myself as another hair falls out of my head).

My advice to you is to start drinking heavily. :D

a friend of mine was worried about 30, to the point that everything she posted on facebook the week leading up to her birthday was some variation on "my body is going to give out" or "thinking of all the things I won't be able to do any more." We kept telling her it was no big deal.
Morning of her birthday she went out jogging and broke her ankle.

Ha! Remember when TV shows had to tell you they were in color?

Which, for some reason, reminds me. Remember that grim-sounding voice at the beginning of a show intoning: "A Quinn Martin production?"

    Holy shit, I'm old.

    36. Did manage to bang a 21-year-old last weekend. Then I realized I had to actually try to hold a conversation with her. As Gob would say, "I've made a huge mistake."

Old enough to have watched Bobby Murcer and Richard Todd play.

Turned 57 in April, but I'm not old yet. If it's too loud, you're too old and I still like my rock-n-roll played loudly.
