As only an occasional reader of the comic, I didn't know his story, but I did realize that scene was set up to be a much bigger deal to those who follow the books than it was to those who do not.

Abe's good people. In the comic he teaches the group to survive and how to not cause herds.
Eugene seemed worthless at the start, but right now, with the latest issue (121) he's being a real hero in the face of death.
These are some great new people for the show (I hope).

Why do I get the feeling that Terminus is just "The Hunters" redone in a bigger sense.
    Don't eat that hamburger Glenn!!!

  4. That was my thought too.

I'm thinking the same thing. And I think Rick and Daryl end up taking out the guys that Daryl's with right now.

Not that my thoughts were the most original, but here's my blog from before the finale. Like many, I was pretty spot on.

Makes sense to me. The only question is how Rick's group manages to gain the upper hand from such dire circumstances and who gets killed in the process. Have to imagine that somebody in the group goes down, if not more than one.

Yeah, someone is going to die. Just a matter of who and when.

I'm going to go ahead and say Beth makes it through all this. If they were going to kill here, I think they would've done it last night.

    Well done JRoyal.

It's hard to read the other thread sometimes, so this thread brings me back down from firing off nasty replies. haha

I do like having the separate threads. I can understand why people wouldn't want fans of the comic giving potential spoilers for the show on the other one. Sure, plenty of things are different, but there are still plenty of story beats and character developments that are the same.

I didn't know the deal with Eugene from the comics, but my immediate reaction on the show was that he was full of shit. Part of that is just knowing that Kirkman isn't really interested in explaining the outbreak or ending it. I assumed all along that he really doesn't know anything about the outbreak. Those who have read the book know how that goes.

I had to hold my tongue about Eugene on the other thread lol. I would figure from the way he's carried himself and some of the things that he's said that people would've caught on that he doesn't really know all he says he does.

Agreed. I don't think it is that hard to figure out. I caught it before I went poking around online to read about the new characters.
