The Walking Dead (Show & Comic)

I think the goal of this thread was to give people who read the comic and watch the show a place to talk about both. I like spikechiquet's idea. Wait a week, but then openly discuss Issue 100.

 

They did a Talking Dead special this weekend and then showed the pilot in black and white...it was sort of a lead-in to the release of the 100th issue of the comic.

Yeah, I feel this thread is going to be a place that is mish-mashed spoilers about the comic and guessing how the show will follow.

I do think if you don't want to be spoiled about what is in the comic...don't read this for a while, catch up to us and then you won't get screwed by reading something you don't want to schiezainc. But I understand wanting to be a part of the conversation, so like I said, we'll wait a week to get those that don't have time during the week to catch up.

If you need to read all the books quickly, I would suggest downloading them and reading them through comical.

 

I've got no problem with that. I do that often on the pro wrestling thread. Besides, I figure I'll be caught up by the time S3 airs which is when I expect this thread to ramp up anyway.

 

So, just got back from vacation, so I have to go back and re-read the book just to remember everything..although I know WHAT the "big thing" was.

Poor Glen.

 

I cannot believe he died. There has got to be retribution coming for this. I'm interested to see how this storyline will wrap up, for sure.

 

Show returns tonight and they are setting the debut up by running the entire series. I have enjoyed re-watching the episodes.

I was able to come up with a major spoiler for the upcoming season. Don't look if you don't want to know.

No matter what they think, Carl is not where he is supposed to be.

 

Can't wait to see this season. Looks like they don't start out in the prison from the preview I saw. Maybe there will be a few never-scene things that harken to the comic coming? That would be cool.
