We've all done it. No worries.

I kept waiting for one of those bodies on the ground to pop up on somebody the whole time. The anticipation was every bit as good as the execution.

It kinda surprised me when Herschel didn't check the body first, but the execution was fantastic.

    That's awesome.

By spoiler-friendly thread (having just caught up on all the episodes) does this mean you nerds delve into the comic book stuff, too? :D

I wasn't. Remember the situation. They are all in a bit of a panic at that point and he is far from the first character on this show to make a stupid mistake and pay dearly for it.

And yes, Care Bear, the comic and the show are discussed on this thread.

I knew once they showed that geek (Felt unfair calling him a walker when he was ... well, sitting) that someone was going to get bit. The execution did not disappoint but I've really got to wonder the logistics of it. In theory, wouldn't the infection immediately spread throughout the rest of the bloodstream? Seems a bit of a stretch, even if Rick did take care of it pretty quickly.

  7. I thought that too. In fact, I'm not convinced Herschel is out of the woods yet. Maybe he lingers for an episode of two before he gets sick like Shane.

    I still hope Lori dies.

Just because they amputated part of the leg doesn't mean it actually works, though I think they did something similar to one of the characters in the books. Dale maybe?

Great way to harken to Dale's amputation. Just finished watching the ep. Will have more thoughts once I put down mini-me after his lunch/nap.

Yeah, but I think in the comic Dale's leg was amputated by cannibals.

Been a while, but that's what I remember.

It was, but that's why I said "harken"....at least someone is going to be hopping around on one leg at the prison. LOL

I am still at the hospital with our newborn, so only could watch the show on the laptop, so didn't get a good look at the prisoners, but looks like Tyreese is joining the show. He was a comic book fave.

Actually, it's been said that it's not the bites that kill you. So I would guess that Hershel lives and someone else bites it (maybe they just do away with Lori's baby? But that grave looked awfully big).

Maybe they just buried his foot.
