    I agree with Ashy.

Marlo is the one character in the series that doesn't appear to have ANY redeerming characteristics. None.

    He'll get his.

Oh, Marlo's going to get his, all right. And yeah, he's by far the worst human being on that show (you could argue that Clay Davis might be No. 2). Not only did he not have to kill that security guard, he didn't even have to steal the lollipop. He did it just to see how the security guard would react. Bad, bad dude.

But even though he doesn't have any redeeming qualities as a person, you can see why he's had so much success in the game. He's smart (not overreacting to the Fruit murder), he's poised (as evidenced in his exchange with Omar), and he recognizes talent (as in Michael). But he's getting way, way too cocky. In the end, it isn't all his evil deeds that are going to bite him. He's going to be done in by the same thing that killed Stringer Bell -- arrogance.

If Marlowe was smart, he'd be letting a body or two turn up.

This hiding scheme will only work for so long. Eventually, somebody opens up these row houses, and the cops will have to come down on him like a mother fucker.

I just have to add that I like how Zeke spells Marlo's name, as if he were Christopher Marlowe, because I'm always going on and on about how this show is "Shakespearian" in its depth and quality.

I just saw Ep. 5 on Demand.

Best episode of the season by far, to me.

    VERY INDIRECT SPOILER BELOW

And the security guard rubout looks legit compared with what happens in Episode 5.

jr: don't forget when chris partlow and snoop do the deeds, they drop lime/lyme on the bodies to keep the stankness down.

In honor of Bunk and Lester asking about floaters, let's put a bobber on this one.

Like I said, best episode of the season tonight.

Fucking shit, now Marlo's gonna frame Omar? This will end badly, but for whom?
