    I always thought R.E.M. and Midnight Oil were very similar, although the Oils have a harder edge.

    Hell, Garrett quit for a decade to serve as a Cabinet minister, and everything I ever read was that they were pretty satisfied calling it a career except for once-every-five-years reunion gigs.
