You could always try a comb-over.

If I had that kind of hair on my neck and shoulders I'd grow it out and wear it like a cape.

    No capes.

Fortunately, it's just the neck, not the shoulders.

I actually had a hairdresser once recommend that I wax it. One of the most painful things I've ever done, and it grew back just as fast.

    Home run.

Once, and only once, my high school best friend's dad said that only girls use straws, and for the rest of my life I have never, ever been able to use a straw without thinking about those exact words. It's weird how something can just bore its way into your brain and never leave.

    My own list:
*I have on many occasions put ice in beer to cool it down, or keep it cold when doing something outside. I only do this with macro-brew lagers, but I really don't mind the wateriness. I think it helps keep one hydrated.

*Sometimes, when it gets exceptionally hot, I like to drive with no A/C on, or turn off the A/C in my house, or just go sit outside in the triple-digit heat and just sweat it out with nature for a while. I'll do the same exact kind of thing on those (rare) occasions where it gets really cold in the winter.

i'm glad you said that. i've always wondered if i should wax it but been too chicken, not so much because of the pain but because i figured it would grow right back. i've actually thought about laser removal.

My DVD collection is alphabetized and divided into genres, including "new releases," where I keep the movies I've bought recently for up to a month before folding them into their proper spot. It's a bit of an obsession.

I think it's weird people still have CD and DVD collections. My iphone/itunes and Netflix alphabetize things for me.

I'm the same way. Though no one ever told me that, I've always had it in my head that it's hard for a guy to look cool drinking from a straw. I rarely do it.

Well, I'm certainly not going to repurchase my 600 movies on iTunes and have to hook up my laptop to the TV every time I want to watch a movie on my 55-inch screen with surround sound. And Netflix's streaming movies are fairly limited. So have fun with all that. :)

I am beginning to think some people might find it weird that I don't sit in front of my laptop and watch TV shows.

Much like Pern, I like to watch TV and movies on my big TV.

I'm on the side of the anti-straw crowd. If you're over about 15, lose the straw. Drink like a grownup.

I've been waxed before and getting the hair removed from your neck is about 1,000,000 worse than your shoulders or back.
