Things you do that other people think are weird

    I once worked at a place where my coworkers poked fun at me for the organization of my desk and would move things on my desk slightly to see if I noticed. I typically did. Once they switched my chair with someone else's — the office was new enough all of the chairs were identical. They were stunned when I sat down and immediately announced it wasn't my chair.

    --Announce the time precisely ("2:43," not "about a quarter till 3")
    --Open screw-tops with my teeth.
    --Go through the same 5-6 Web sites in the same order when I get up each day.

    I double-click to highlight paragraphs when reading them on my laptop.

    I hold the bottom of my kneecap and kick to make it pop.

    I sit close to the steering wheel in my car (which is awkward-looking for someone who's 6-2, 190) and tighten guitar straps to put the strings about 1 inch below nipple level.

    Jlee, I do the same thing when reading long stories. Just seems to help.

    Picked it up from a guy I used to work with, who kind of matches your description....

    I have to eat a certain "side" of my plate first; no jumping around and taking a bite of steak and then some vegetables and going back. Once I'm on a food, I need to finish it.

    I caught the habit from learning some Rage Against the Machine songs. I tightened my strap to mimic Tom Morello, and then a little more, and then a little more ...
