They were my 26 and 27 when making the original list. Who do you think they should replace?

Edit: Cincinnati and South Florida are right there for me, too.

That's for you to decide. I've got my own poll, which I sent to Slap last night and some intense scrutiny (two beers and some internet searches). I had Pitt at 20 and WVU at 24 or 25... Not much repsect but still.

    Hell, it's preseason ..

I'm not entirely sold on Kansas, Iowa, Texas Tech, Florida State and North Carolina (going by your poll) but that's the best part of these polls... the debate.

A lot of people are high on FSU this year, but half their team transfered to North Alabama, which is coached by one Terry Bowden. Including WR Preston Parker and some RB I know little about.

Sorry...that might have come off wrong. I simply meant to ask who you thought I might be favoring too much. Especially early on, I like a lot of feedback/input.

I can't remember Ole Miss ever being tabbed so high for a preseason poll. (No. 8)

I was in knee pants when they were locking horns with Billy Cannon and the Tigahs in the late '50s, both of them near the top of the polls and both of them a l-o-n-g way from integrating.

    Thanks for the ballot, Slap.

    That should be No. 8.

I don't even post my ballots (a matter of principle I can't quite explain except that it would feel wrong, somehow). No way will I post a draft.

Maybe we should make it rule for all of us to post our ballots. Could make it lively for debate, but it worked pretty well last year how people had their choice to post or not.
