With Paul Johnson in his second season, the offense (with nine starters back) should be better -- if they can pass at all, they won't be so one dimensional and will be that much more dangerous. And if the Yellow Jackets can control the line of scrimmage and the clock on offense like they probably should, that ought to bolster the defense.

The one thing Rutgers does bring back on offense is all five offensive linemen, so if they have any quality running backs, that ought to help ease the transition with quarterbacks. They could surprise, but like you, I'll wait for them to prove it.

The other thing Rutgers has is a cheesecake schedule, and they get Pitt, USF, Cincy and West Virginia at home.

You want in, pay attention to deadlines. You don't, don't waste my time.

That's still three conference losses, easy.

Piscataway ain't exactly The Big House.

I voted twice. :D That's the Chicago way!

I'm mystified at the love for Georgia Tech, though. That looks like a five-loss operation, maybe even six, unless some things break exactly right for them.

Three of the names (doggies, questions, NCWC) haven't logged on here since July 31.

Sorry Slappy for my lateness. Look forward to seeing the numbers. I take it there won't be another poll until after Week 1.

After Toledo won there last year, you could argue The Big House isn't exactly The Big House.
