This weather sucks

It's because you're a sinner and god is wrathful.

 

A beautiful snow-covered morning here deep in the hearta'.

Four inches total and not a cloud in the sky. The air is so clear and blue it's amazing. The sun was blinding the minute it broke the horizon. With the snow on the rooftops and the bushes, it all looks like a Christmas card.

The kicker is, it's gonna be 55º this afternoon and 65º tomorrow.

And it's primary day.

Life is indeed good.

 

I couldn't even imagine driving around your town with snow/ice on the roads.

 

Round 2 headed right for my living room:

 

Our week in Mississippi...
Monday: High close to 80; cloudy and breezy, but still warm
Monday night: Nasty wind, thunderstorms, tornadoes in some areas
Tuesday: High around 40, light misty drizzle all day. Just nasty.
Wednesday and Thursday: Sunny, highs around 60. Pretty nice.
Friday (forecast): Rain all day, temps in the 40s.
Saturday (forecast): Sunny with highs around 60.

In other words, just a typical winter week.

 

The thing that sucks is, we're in the first week of March and should be well into the pear trees starting to bud by now. And I'm probably going to sweep four inches of snow off my truck again tonight.

But there's a plus side. No baseball / softball call-ins!

 

Shit. it's snowing in Mineral Wells. We are toast.

Time to panic and go for beer groceries.

 

40 and a little drizzle is nasty? : :

 

We're already four hours ahead of the weather forecasters.

There is already two inches of snow (they said it wouldn't start sticking before 6 p.m.)

The streets are slicker than Monica's cigar.

It's snowing its ass off, and is supposed to keep it up all night. OMG, this is The Big One.

 

Bat, please tell me you have a good view of the road so you can watch trucks slipping and sliding along.

Screw you guys. I wish we were getting some snow. It looks like it is going to stay just to the north of us.
