Yeah. Thompson's coach, Mark Freeman, might very well coach at UAB some of these days. He's close to Bill Clark and fully understands what the program could become. He's turned Thompson into a powerhouse. The standard answer when his name came up in the coaching search was "He's good, but he has no college experience".

 

At least one championship will be won there this season.

The Harrisburg-area conference, the Mid-Penn, has three of the 12 finalists this time around. It starts at 1 p.m. today at Cumberland Valley High School, about 10 miles out of Harrisburg. They have moved the championships away from the concrete graveyard known as Hersheypark Stadium.
