Sure. You got Jackie Sherrill castration jokes, Hattiesburg is the safest city because of a lack of attractive women, etc., etc.

So are you saying you don't like to have sex?

I do, but it is not my everything.

Two things a former professor, who is more like a father figure than a professor, told me:
"You spend more of your life standing up than laying down."
"There is more to life than tokin' and pokin'."

Not sure if I agree with your professor on that second one.......

But seriously, my point is this -- when a dude gets caught cheating I find the "sex addiction" excuse to be lame and bullshit. I know in the 80's and 90's addiction became buzz words to excuse almost every negative behaviour but I never bought into the whole sex addiction thing.

I suppose a guy like Jeffrey Dahmer or Ted Bundy has a legitimate sexual addiction which is clearly unhealthy, but a guy like Tiger, who has lots of ass thrown his way and can't say no to it, that's more normal than abnormal so I ain't buying the "I have a sexual addiction" defense.

Wade Boggs had a sex addiction.
Oh, yeah, he got caught cheating.

How do you cure a sex addiction?

I believe there is such a thing as sex addiction. I don't personally know anyone who has had it, but, I have known enough people in my life for whom the pursuit was all they ever cared about.

I was just disagreeing with the blanket statement of what man doesn't have a sex addiction, I don't think about it all the time, or chase it, which is what I understand addiction to be. Like a heroin addict only cares about getting their next blast, I would assume the sex addict only cares about getting off.

Male chastity belts do exist. So I've heard.

Do it like my dad said he was going to make me quit smoking, throw me in a room with a carton of smokes until I can't take it anymore? For sex, well, use your imagination.

You have obviously never been to Hattiesburg. It's a good-sized Southern town with a large university that was originally a teacher's college. More good-looking women there than they know what to do with. I ought to know; I married one.

Apparently, the sex-addiction clinic there has become a popular spot for celebrities who want to rehab in a quiet out-of-the-way place. And Hattiesburg is pretty quiet and out of the way. Former ESPN baseball analyst Steve Phillips was spotted there last summer.

Zag, there's a certain amount of truth in what you say. However, I'd say that Tiger does have some kind of addiction.

He screwed around on a SWEDISH UNDERWEAR MODEL. If that can't keep you at home, you have a problem.

And I also read he's supposedly at one in South Africa. So which is it?
