In Woods' own mind, it sucks to be him for one reason only. He has finished fourth in the last two majors rather than winning them. Nobody could make such a spectacular hash of the rest of their life unless on some very fundamental level they weren't that interested in it.

 

Majors that all the Tiger fans were sure he would win.

 

I am really surprised by fact that his net worth is over a billion. That means he's earned at least $2B due to taxes and percentages paid to advisors etc.

As for Ms. Woods, I give her credit for staying low and keeping everything out of the media. I would advise against the "how is she worth $750M?" questions, you nor anyone else did not marry Mr. Woods and did not bear his children, and was not his partner while he was earning that $2B. You knew that when Mr. Woods married her, you just ignored it until payout time.

 

The funny thing about the money to keep Elin from talking - I don't think she ever would anyway. She was the one that prompted Tiger to pay off the hoochies to keep them from talking.

It is an undeniable fact of human existence that many men who are not very good husbands work extra hard to be successful fathers by way of compensation. My guess is Woods is not of those men, but it's just a guess.
