Regardless, it still does not suck to be Tiger Woods these days.

There may be parts of his life that sucks. There are parts of ALL our lives that suck. At the end of the day, though, Tiger still has it pretty damn good.

A small part of me still hopes he tries to embrace his inner heel. I think that'd be riveting television.

Also, I think he wins going away this week. Just a hunch.

No fucking way she gets $750 million.

As for being worth a billion, he was an early investor in Google.

Yeah, there was a story out there that he invested a truckload of money in Google in 1997 or 1998.

I don't believe the $750 million number either.

Not that his word is even remotely credible, but he did deny the billionaire report when it came out. And the original Forbes story admitted it was just a guess, and said if it hadn't happened yet, it would happen eventually.

The Google thing does make me believe it's possible though.

You have to take any of those numbers with a bucketload of salt. The inflated number benefits both sides - makes Tiger look richer than he is and makes Elin look like she hit the motherlode.

The original prenup was estimated at around $300M. There was supposedly a renegotiation after the scandal, paying her more to stay in the marriage. Those 'bonuses' are usually tied to the length of the marriage. Hard to see how this would escalate to the alleged $750M....although that figure could (and probably does) include shares of future earnings.

That said, has any other news outlet reported actual knowledge of a divorce, or is everyone just repeating the original Sun story?

Just a guess, but if there really is a divorce, good bet that Tiger will release the news himself to control the spin.

She will be able to buy BP if the stock price keeps dropping.

TMZ says it's not close to $750 million and will be finalized tomorrow. But it says she's getting more than she would have in a prenup, so I'm guessing she'll be doing okay for at least a few years. I'd put a link but their homepage keeps crashing my computer.

Tiger gets pissy with some Irish reporters:

For once, I think I can safely say that I probably would have done the exact same thing.

Don't like getting asked the questions?

Keep your dick in your pants, hoss.

I agree some of the questions have gone a bit overboard, but I will never feel an ounce of sympathy for that douche.

I'm sure Nike is bristling every time he answers a question with that condescending smirk. All he has to say is, "Sorry, but that's private."
