Ha! You assume that's not already happening. Trust me. She ain't got anything to worry about. You've met me. You know. :)

    No worries.

So now that it's out there (officially), how does this change your view of him? For me, Tiger was probably my biggest idol growing up. The first time I ever watched golf was when he won the Masters in 97. The first time I ever played was about 2 days later.

I've rooted hard for him ever since and always admired the way he managed to stay out of trouble (in an age when it's so easy for athletes to fall into trouble). Hell, the worst thing you could say about his character until now was that he spits and swears and can be a little arrogant at times. Not exactly a bad rap sheet for 13 years in the spotlight.

It's easy for me to sit here and call him a scumbag for cheating. But I also don't have tons of gorgeous women throwing themselves at me everywhere I go like he does (believe it or not). It's impossible for the average Joe to know what that's like and also who knows what was going on within his marriage at home.

Deep down I was hoping none of this was true and right now I'm mad at him for letting me down. But nobody's perfect and I shouldn't expect him to be either, no matter how perfect he may seem at times. He's human.

I'm hoping by the time the Masters rolls around I'll be rooting for him again.

If we've learned anything from baseball, I think we've found that it's not impossible to once again root people we once supported to no end.

Granted, steroids are a different type of cheating, but I don't think I at least will have a hard time rooting for him again. If you think infidelity isn't going on in all sports and facets of society, you're lying to yourself.

Hell, I think I might have more respect for Tiger now. Maybe respect is the wrong word, but I might like him a little more.

Some people see him as being perfect on the course and for some reason, they expect that same level of perfect off the course. Impossible. Dude's human. So what if he bangs random chicks? Just means he's not faithful. Nothing more. Definitely won't change the fact that I'll root for him whenever he plays.

I certainly don't think Tiger's a horrible human being for humping strange.

I'm just upset his cheating crosses him off the list of potential Notre Dame coaches.

No one cares that Tiger banged a thousand skanks. We just care he's lying about it.

He's still got a shot to coach hoops at Louisville, though.

When did he lie about it?

Yeah if there's one thing I've learned (or should learn) about sports, it's to root for what they do on the field and keep it at that. I'm not sure I even want to know what some of the guys I root for are doing off the field.

And I see where Sonner is going. This is really the first time I'm seeing him as a human instead of a corporate, PR robot. Even though it's in a negative light, in a way it's kind of refreshing to see him as one of us for once.

Athletes these days aren't too keen in admitting their transgressions. Wilt Chamberlain isn't walking through that door.

And think about it. Tiger growing up, all he did was play golf. He was a nerdy little kid who did nothing but play golf. You think he got to experience the typical high school and college life? No chance. Only seems reasonable that he'd make up for lost time at one point or another. Only problem is that he did a poor job of keeping it private.

It seems like maybe his biggest mistake in all this was getting married.
