I have gone to Walgreen's/CVS many times at 2:30 a.m.

Millions of American men have gotten in their cars during fights with their wives to drive off to parts unknown. That's the one part of the story that made sense from the start.

  3. That's been the thing that's gotten me on this as far as media coverage. The AP actually had a line in one story that "it still wasn't clear why Woods was leaving his house at 2:30 a.m." Sure, it's unusual, but it's not exactly incriminating for anything.

It's the whole "nothing good happens after midnight" cliche. Hey, lots of good things happened for me after midnight.

Fake callers into live TV shows get through. Harig isn't going to call a fake Jesper.

    So have I.
    Third Street Diner, too.

You think Tiger does that? On Thanksgiving?

Yeah, Michael, I knew that. Kind of my whole point - he wasn't going anywhere. There was some sort of fight and he split in a huff.
My "probing questions" were my way of wondering how he'd spin that part. So, Tiggs, where you headed?

Go back about 30 pages, we had some fun with responses. I don't think anyone thought anything other than he was driving while pissed.

He must have been pissed at Tiger for a while. Maybe he's known that Tiger hasn't been faithful.

Obviously he's got a personal connection to Elin, but I'm still shocked he'd say this publicly.

Most folks wouldn't want to rock the boat and/or piss off the top guy on the tour.

Good for him. But I also hope he doesn't have any similar skeletons in his closet. You've got to think that TMZ and the like will take a look just for shits & giggles.

I thought that too, that Jesper wouldn't want to make Tiger mad. But I didn't know that his game had fallen so far as to land him in Q-School. Maybe now he just figures he'll go out swingin'.

Parnevik is an individualist. If he's not afraid to say what he thinks, good on him. I'd be very upset if I was in his position, too.
Golf is a small town. Some of Woods' fellow townspeople are going to be on the outs with him for keeps over this. Others won't be.
Moddy, I didn't mean knock what you said. I don't understand why Woods didn't start off by saying he left the house in a snit after a fight with his wife. That's no crime. A fight over that National Enquirer story would've been the most natural thing in the world.

Yeah, my bad. I just clicked on the ESPN link and saw Harig's name. Also read right over Oz attributing it to Golf Channel earlier.

    Fail.

Good on Jesper. Someone needed to say it. I know it's Tiger and Elin's marriage and it should be between them, but there really should be a certain amount of shame applied when something like this happens.

That said, I still love watching Tiger play golf. He's a hell of an athlete.
