Why'd she have to break both windows to "rescue" him?

While I don't believe it, she could have said that she busted the first one out, but couldn't get to the handle (because of where the Escalade was or some other such excuse).

 

He was scrambling pretty well until he hit the tree. You just know the little devil on his shoulder was saying "It's 90 percent air. Drive right through that motherfucker."

He's had those temptations --- and dived right in, we know --- many years before he met Elin.

But he met her and at some point MADE A DECISION to make a vow to her. That cancels out the obligatory "but there's so much temptation . . . " justification every time. He made that vow knowing that at the next tournament stop there would be dozens of women available for the taking. I hope he didn't make it just to complete the Perfect Tiger Image his handlers have worked so hard to create and maintain. But who knows?

 

I still can't believe people care so damn much about this guy screwing around on his wife, as if there was no way any of us could imagine that a professional athlete with lots of money would be getting some strange on the side.

I guess I can believe it, since that's the media world we live in today, but Christ, it's been less than a week and I'm so sick and fucking tired of hearing about Tiger Woods' affair everywhere I go I'm about to go swing a 3-iron at somebody.

If he was drunk, he deserves scrutiny. If he was high, he deserves scrutiny. If he was doing anything else illegal that made him wreck his car, he deserves scrutiny. But all of this because the guy was boning some chick on the side? Jesus Christ.

 

I am not on 24 hour Tiger watch, but he is not just any professional athlete with lots of money. At all. He's the most recognizable athlete in the world. One of the most recognizable humans in the world. There is nobody like him. And his image was so well-crafted that of course this story and the details are going to shock the shit out of people. And the average guy could say today, "Gee, I'm glad I'm not Tiger Woods right now." That's pretty powerful stuff.
