I'd like to see "Stevie" try to take a camera from him. He'd wake up a half-hour later missing four teeth!

After which Tiger would ride a 7-iron down the ice in celebration. ;D

A 7-iron? Is that what you crazy kids are calling waitresses from Perkins these days?

So Stevie apologizes for basically taking credit for Adam Scott's win last weekend and then follows it up by again acting as if people come out to see HIM carry a bag.

Good lord again. The pairing of Woods and Williams was truly the perfect storm of the 2 biggest assholes on the planet.

The only person in the world who could make Williams look like a sympathetic figure is Woods. And the only person who could make Woods look even a bit sympathetic is Williams.

Say what you want about Woods, he's playing this perfectly by keeping quiet and letting Williams dig himself a deeper and deeper hole. I would love it for Woods to win the PGA this week and then be completely gracious when he gets the inevitable Stevie questions.

The ESPN headline, intentionally or unintentionally, is hilarious: "Caddie Williams sorry for not crediting Scott"

That is about what he did, I suppose.

Last night, ESPN Classic Canada showed highlights of the 2000 PGA (Woods-May going head to head). I had forgotten just how compelling that day was. Just birdie after birdie after birdie by both of them.

The reason I brought that up is just to say I'm sure Stevie has had dental work done since then. In 2000, he was a dead ringer for Gary Dell'Abate. He looks a bit less simian now.

    Did anyone yell Baba-Booey!?

I still laugh every time I think of that caller during the O.J. chase regaling TV with details and then going, "Baba-Booey!"

    OK, back to Tiger. Baba-Booey.

Tiger goes back into hibernation after tomorrow. He looks like an amateur now, absolutely no plan. You'd expect more, really, from him and/or his team.

Think of a successful professional golfer's life, you need a caddie, the list of tournaments you're going to play, how much prep to do.

    Tiger has none of this:

Caddie: Some friend/business confidant. Well if you're going to fire Williams, you should have had a better plan in place than the dude who hooked me up with my ladies.

Prep: What is his plan for the future? Nada.

    Schedule: Does he even know?

I'm late to this way of thinking, but I'm beginning to believe he may never get it back.

That's how I feel, too. I was adamant that he would be back...it's actually sort of shocking to me. Not just his play, but everything in his universe seems to have gone to shit. I don't know that he can recover.
