Not to get into an argument but how are you rating these ladies? What makes one better than the other in your instance, thousand times better?

  2. They're all tremendous. I just think it goes Roberts, followed closely by Macur and then Crouse.

    They're all tremendous.

OK, but like I said, what are you basing this on?

  4. Uh, reading their stories.

How many senior writers at Cosmopolitan are male?

If you could, I'd like to specifically read what makes one better than the other. Again, it's your opinion but I'd like to know what you're reading when you scan their stories.

  7. Selena wrote what is considered by many in the industry to be the best gamer written in recent memory. It's from the Knicks-Heat playoff game several years back and is a masterpiece.

Macur has written some unbelievable features in Dallas and NY.

I wasn't a huge fan of Crouse as a columnist, but she's done a great job in NY.

All would be outstanding hires for SI.

    If we're going on a scale of 1 to 100. Roberts is a 99, Macur is a 98 and Crouse is a 95.

    I don't know. What's your point?

  10. I don't know, but I'd bet Cosmo has more male writers than SI has female writers.

It's just the old counting game, once again.

How many women at SI? How many men at Cosmo? How many whites at Ebony? How many conservatives at Mother Jones or The Nation?

It's good to count. I hope we never stop counting based on gender, race, preference or politics when it comes to doing a job driven by fairness, accuracy and responsibility to present conflicting views.

I'll bet Cosmo has tons of men on staff... Gay men, but that's neither here nor there...

1 of 26 is incredibly embarrassing for SI.
