I did not, despite living like two blocks from it.

That's the only strip club I've had the pleasure of patronizing. The owner has apparently killed people, and I enjoyed the chicken tenders. I feel dirty.

There's a place in San Antonio with a great prime rib during MNF halftime.

I like how you skipped over the fact the owner has killed people. :D

I recall very little about that night. But I turned down a lap dance (paid for by someone else) so I could pound tenders and fries. I do remember thinking I preferred Chick-fil-A.

Well I KNEW he had killed people. The fact you ate there was the news!

I ate at one in Vegas. They made a hell of a steak.

Just to get this thread back on topic ... you are all insane.

I've made my views on tipping quite clear here on several occasions and while I have softened a bit the past couple years regarding percentages at restaurants (I'm pretty much between 17-20% now depending on the quality of the service but I WILL stiff a waitress/waiter for a shitty time), I still contend that I will not tip people who are just doing their job.

Until we live in a world where giving the cashier at the supermarket a buck for scanning your groceries becomes common place, I'm not tipping anyone just because they did what they're already paid to do.

This includes valets, door openers, repairmen, professional movers (Though I've always just moved everything myself), cable installation folks and the like. Hell, I would rather just pay the upcharge in a restaurant on food rather than being forced to determine how much some employee is "worth"when I get the check.

Sorry if this makes me an asshole (I'm sure it does) but that's just the way I am.
