Wasn't funny the first time you tried saying it.

Two bucks if the milk is adequate. As much as a finsky if it's outstanding.

I always feel awkward with take-out food places who have a tip amount line in their receipt. I usually just tip a dollar, but really... it's weird because I'm not paying for any kind of service. I'm taking my sandwich and eating it elsewhere. It seems kinda desperate.

Here's what I don't get: Why do we base it off the checks at restaurants? Don't get me wrong, I do it, though like schiezainc I don't feel bad if I don't tip well for crappy service, but why is good service at Chili's worth less than good service at a quality steak place? Why should the cost of the food be what determines what we tip?

Why buy the milk when you can tip the cow for free something something?

In Wisconsin, do you leave it on the nightstand or just give it to the cow?

In general, I agree that you tip less for take-out than for a meal in the restaurant where the server has more to do.

Of course, Saturday night, when the server was bringing our meal to my car through cold rain, I figured a respectable tip reflected value received.
