How long has Simers hated Plaschke?
Did they ever brawl? Did they scream at each other in press boxes?

I imagine they think in sports it's gonna be the feature stories and the columnists.

Someone needs to take grandpa's keyboard away.

I'm not much younger than Simers, but sweet christ, shut up.

    Retire. *

I'm guessing TJ has so entwined his persona with being a raging asshole that he can't retire. Then who would he rage at? He'd be dead within 6 months (in his mind).

I've known more than one. Equal parts pandering and pathetic. Much more hung up on awards than actually doing good work, making the section better and being pertinent to the publication's readers.

He's not wrong about the Times being beat here.

Simply abysmal for the Times to be beaten on that story.

I thought everyone from ESPN had just been fired.

Now that was a good line.
