    I made a worse mistake - the second piece of kugel.

    As I’ve done the last few years, I live-streamed services from NYC’s Central Synagogue. As Kol Nidre was starting, I got a message from an SJer who was also doing this and saw I was “there.” It was nice doing services with someone else, sharing our admiration for Rabbi Buchdahl that night and our complaints about one part of the morning service the next day.

    Kind of an odd question - while I understand that the day of atonement is for Jews to ask forgiveness, is it okay for us Gentiles to acknowledge that and say, "no worries. It's cool" and grant that forgiveness?
