How did the police thread get to the second page? West Virginia police shoot and kill a man at his dad's funeral.

I loved the fact that police said they believed the suspect was armed but could not confirm if a weapon was found. Could the police have been -GASP- playing fast-and-loose with the truth?

Police arrive to assist in the capture and relocation of a mountain lion.

Police say nonlethal means didn’t work and the lion charged an officer.

    Police shot the lion.

Oakland Zoo calls it a tragedy on Facebook.

Police take issue with the implications and call out the zoo.

On the surface, that number seems about 10 times too low compared to what other people get in settlements

Not a cop, but fits the thread.

There’s a joke about Army intelligence in there somewhere, but I’m not going to go there.

On one account, Ryan allegedly posted: “I serve for combat experience so I’m more proficient in killing n*****s.” Investigators found that Ryan registered some social media accounts with an email that included “naziace1488.”

"Woman's rape cries go unheard in unmonitored drug sting." tl;dr - Police use a female informant with a wire and camera to do a drug buy, but because this was all the way back in... uh, January 2021, they don't have the technology to be monitoring the buy live. As a result, dealer rapes woman before police arrest him after the fact. To add insult to injury, police arrest woman for drug possession three weeks later, and its unclear if her cooperation got her any allowances from them.

Don’t investigate them and there won’t be a problem.

Sheila Kuehl played Zelda on the Dobie Gillis Show. We always hoped she wouldn't show up and Tuesday Weld would.
