I saw something this morning where a Karen in Texas called 911 to report a couple fighting on the street. They were visibly using their hands toward one another.
Three cops show up and start commanding the man to get on the ground. When he doesn't comply with their verbal commands, they all three taze him.
Once on the ground, when the guy doesn't comply with their verbal commands to put his hands behind his back, they begin to kick him.

After the dust settles, turns out it was a deaf couple, and they were signing to each other.

    MAJOR. FUCKING. LAWSUIT.

I’ve seen the released video, and I’m not sure what to think. The cops announced themselves three times as Farmington police. Was there a benefit to the guy walking through the door blasting? If they are cops, you’re signing your death warrant. If it’s an armed robber, odds are they’re firing the first shot. The cops clearly fucked up with the address issue, but would you expect them to not open fire when they’re being shot at? The issue wasn’t with their actions on scene, it was with everything leading up to it.

Oh yeah, the wife also came out blasting. We’re not talking about a couple peaceniks.

Better yet, even AFTER he told them he’s deaf, the dipshits still tried giving him verbal commands. And yes, they heard him say he’s deaf.

Charges in the KC shooting. But not attempted murder. At least it’s a start.

I couldn't help think of the case a few years back of the off-duty cop walking into the wrong apt. (not hers) and seeing a guy there so she shot and killed him. In both of these cases it is clear that the shooters automatically viewed black people as a "threat" that they needed to shoot - no questions ask. We are a sick, sick country.

Obviously - these cops are morons, but I also wonder how much training goes into 911 dispatchers being able to adequately suss out a situation so they don't send cops out to a scene locked and loaded.
