    That Yale thing may be alarmist, but the Kia/Hyundai thing is real. My friend just had his 2017 Kia Soul stolen and totaled in Richmond by kids doing a Kia Boys TikTok deal. It's happened several times around the city of late. They broke in through the back window, ripped out the steering column and started it that way. It's a known security flaw of that vehicle. Ironically, he had ordered a Club for his car that was set to arrive ... the day after it was stolen.

    I work for a State Farm agent and we won’t write a new policy for a customer with a Kia or Hyundai that doesn’t have a push button starter.
