I hope those that could, enjoyed Juneteenth yesterday. Also remember that it became a national and in some cases a state holiday after George Floyd was killed in police custody. Because a holiday is easier to accomplish that meaningful police reform.
Not dismissing the holiday - which has had people pushing for it to become a national holiday for years before Floyd, but still just shaking my head that its been four years since Floyd. Sure, the cop was convicted - but reform would be nice too.
