Not a shock in the least - I was expecting more info on the basic situation of what led up to the police showing up. Blake isn't being charged for resisting either.

Putting this here. I have to think the Capitol Police thought these were "their people" and wouldn't do anything too rash, right? I mean a lot of them were sporting Blue Lives Matter stuff. Unbelievable. More proof that, in general, police see darker people as more threatening than white folks.

I hope that subsequent stories about the Capitol security debacle will go beyond “the Capitol Police” rejecting offers of help from “the Pentagon” and name the person or people who made the offer and the person or people who declined.
