    Ok, apparently I was unclear or you are misreading what I wrote.

    Let's try this again. I am bothered by thoughtless comments like this not because I think the speaker is trying to downplay the Holocaust, but I think these kinds of statements do make it easier on the people who really are trying to deny or diminish the horror of what happened.

    Clearer?

    Yiou can't be a public figure and link yourself with Hitler, in any way, and not expect a shitstorm to follow.

    Coughlin is the coach most ill-suited to the New York market since Rich Kotite.

    it's right there in the coach's handbook: thou shall not mention hitler in any way, shape ir form. guess major tom didn't get the memo. :eek:
