The only cold weather site that might get one any time soon is Minneapolis since the Vikings have a new stadium
Among the one and dones is my former home Jacksonville
I don’t think the Bold New City of the South will get another any time soon

As to Minnesota getting another one, they seem to go north as a reward for a new stadium only once, and I really wonder if they want to keep rolling the dice on Minnesota's weather. They've been lucky in that they avoided a lot of snow or extreme cold the two times the Super Bowl was up here, but that's not a chance I'd want to keep taking.

I think Nashville will get one once Nissan Stadium is renovated.

    Detroit had two
Got lucky in 2006 when the weather was so balmy there was an all-day snow on Saturday and it all melted immediately
In 1982 there was an ice storm on the day of the game
Since Big Three ad $$$ aren’t as powerful as they used to be I doubt Ford Field will see another Super Bowl
    Just like its tenants

Nashville's weather could be problematic (could be fine, too), but otherwise it'd be a swell Super Bowl host.

They’d have to kick the marauding platoons of bachelorettes out of town for the week.

Not Dallas -- North Texas. ;)

The weather wasn’t the biggest issue with that Super Bowl. Jerry botched it from top to bottom.

He decided he had to get attendance over 100,000 (I think he wanted the Super Bowl record) so he had a bunch of temporary seats put in.

But the Cowboys waited until two weeks before the Super Bowl to start construction on them, and even with crews working on them around the clock, they weren’t ready on game day, leaving a bunch of ticket holders without a seat.

That resulted in the league getting sued and the commissioner having to publicly fall on the grenade and take the blame. And that is NOT a good way to stay in the Super Bowl rotation.

Shit, a few years ago, Kansas City was floating the idea of a roof that could be used for Kauffman and for Arrowhead, one that would somehow roll into place over either stadium. That was their idea to be in the Super Bowl rotation, but obviously it never happened.

“We’re going to have the Super Bowl in Cleveland, because... you know what? Fuck you! Fuck everybody! We’re going to have it in Cleveland!” -Roger Goodell in his last act if he ever learned he was about to be fired.
