    11. Eagerly awaiting the February issue of Grand National Scene that had all the season's new paint jobs on the race cars.
    12. Ham and cheese sandwiches from King's service station across the road from Bristol International Raceway.
    13. NASCAR drivers, crew chiefs, engine builders that were former/active moonshiners.
    14. Junior Johnson
    15. The Southern 500 on Labor Day in Darlington
    16. Most NASCAR drivers being from North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia and Virginia.
    17. Tim Richmond not being from the above mentioned.
    18. Holly Farms and Valleydale
    19. My dad and his buddies going their annual World 600 weekend, slipping my teddy bear into his suitcase as my mom packed it and wishing I was big enough to go too.
    20. The guy that jumped a school bus over motorcycles as part of the pre race

    PC, the old bullpen car is still on display right under the field-level stands back of third base at Dodger Stadium.

    1.) The Pirates having the best farm system in baseball.
    2.) The Steelers' block lettering.
    3.) Bucco Bruce and Denver's Orange Crush color scheme.
    4.) Topps wax packs.
    5.) Barry Sanders
    6.) The NBA of the 1980's.
    7.) No athlete media training.
    8.) Reebok pumps.
    9.) The days when athletes felt like heroes, not money-hungry frauds.
    10.) Peanut heaven seats at Three Rivers Stadium.

    10. The NFL without a team in Los Angeles. Um, wait -- never mind. :D

    I'm old enough to remember all of those plus my favorite, the Arizona Wranglers. Can't honestly say that I wish those were still around, though.
