Very fair point. Based on this photo Clijsters might make it to the SJ 6 line.

Clijsters does not belong on that list. If they were determined to have a token female included, they could've found plenty more fitting choices in other sports such as women's basketball or weightlifting.

 

Also loved the "Gaetti escaping from Devil's Island" line.

 

Wasn't it Jim Bouton who said Joe Torre would melt camera lenses.

I don't know, but Bouton described a really ugly groupie as "kind of like Joe Torre with tits."

 

Half the 80's Celtics could have made the list. That Clisters pick is bizarre. He had a whole WNBA to choose from.

 

Putting an African-American woman on the list would have been too controversial.

Like all these lists, it was designed to attract clicks, attention, and dispute. As much thought went into creating the list as goes into the average Devil93 post. But, they didn't want to be accused of racism or sexism, so only one woman makes the list, and she's white.

 

That hasn't stopped seemingly anyone from taking potshots at Brittney Griner.
