If the MeatChicken-OSU rematch is such a lock, why don't Tressel and Carr simply get on the phone this week and agree to have Smith and Henne take 3 hours' worth of knees, force sextuple overtime and have somebody win 3-0?

Junkie, I'd love to believe you, but that Notre Dame loss is a long way in the rear view right now. As short-memoried as some of the voters are, a one-loss Notre Dame will be too hard to resist if they win out. I just hope the fighting Carroll's stick is up Charlie's arse.

Um ... uh ... must have forgotten about that. Doesn't change my opinion any. Cal didn't play well today, and that game would be in USC. I just don't think Cal has the defense to spring that upset.

Yup, I was watching Auburn trudge off the field today and thinking to myself, "Hey, they're still better in Rutgers."

Yeah. That's what I was doing.

In a perfect world, this guy would get better at doing this with practice.

I know they lost to USC, but Arkansas is looking pretty damn good right now. I don't know if they look better than USC because I don't get to see their games, but they're also a one loss team who killed Tennessee tonight.

Notre Dame's no different that Rutgers, and it's in the top 10 despite that Michigan debacle at home. And Auburn's been blown out twice. Sorry, but this poll doesn't add up.

If Rutgers were an SEC, Pac-10, Big 10, Big 12 or ACC team struggling to crack the top 10, people would go crazy. There would be a call for a playoff now to end this nonsense.

But because it's the Big East, some just shrug their shoulders and wonder what's the point.
